Coming to 黑暗爆料网 from Besan莽on, France to play on the Women鈥檚 Soccer team, Claire Favre is finishing her degree in Exercise Science this spring. Always having a passion for sports, she felt her degree was a way to turn that passion into a career.
鈥淚 have had interest in sports my whole life and studying Exercise Science is for me a way to stay into the sport field even when I will not be able to play sports at a collegiate level,鈥 she said.
Teaching students to assess and evaluate fitness levels for individuals and groups, the Exercise Science program offers hands-on learning opportunities within the classroom.
鈥淚 look forward to attending classes because I know I will learn something new,鈥 said Favre. 鈥淚 particularly enjoy the hands-on aspect of our classes. We not only learn theory but also apply it in practice, which makes the learning experience much more engaging.鈥
Within her program, Favre has been able to connect with her professors and has been inspired by their passion for the coursework.
鈥淭he professors in Exercise Science are incredibly passionate about their subject,鈥 she said. 鈥淭hey not only teach but also bring extensive professional experience. The relationship between professors and students in the Exercise Science program is the best I've experienced.鈥
After completing her degree, Favre is planning to pursue a Master鈥檚 degree in Athletic Training to further her career. She encourages other students interested in Exercise Science to be ready to work hard but also know that the professors within SSU鈥檚 program are there to offer support and guidance.
鈥淵ou will always have support and help from your professors if you ask for it and are willing to work and learn,鈥 she said.
