Are you an international student interested in ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø?
Welcome! Our Office of Admission and Center for International Programs and Study Abroad at ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø work closely to assist international students interested in attending our university.
To apply to ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø, submit the following:
- $50 Application Fee
- Final High School Transcript
- of (High school transcripts or International college/university)
- Optional Alternative:ÌýOfficial NACES EvaluationÌýor AICE EvaluationÌýof all secondary coursework, if the school is outside the United States
- SSU requiresÌýa course-by-courseÌýevaluation by a member of either the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) for all post-secondary (college level) academic coursework earned outside the United States. A list of accepted evaluation companies is available atÌýÌýfor NACES.
- Please request the evaluation be sent directly to ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø via the evaluation company’s portal for Shawne State or emailed to rwarner@shawnee.edu
- Standardized Test ScoreÌý(SAT or ACT)
- English Proficiency Score (IELTS/TOEFL/Duolingo)
- Bank StatementÌý($32,575)
- Copy of Current PassportÌý(Must have 6 months validity)

After we receive your application, you will receive a letter of acceptance from the Office of Admission with information about attending orientation, registering for classes, and how to access MySSU – your official student portal to access important information such as financial aid notices, transfer credits, and account information.
You will also receive a letter of acceptance from the Dean of the College of Arts & Sciences or Dean of the College of Professional Studies, depending on your chosen field of study.
