鈥淲e really pride ourselves on having practical, hands-on, lab-based skills,鈥 said Adam Miller, interim dean of the College of Business and Engineering Technology. 鈥淪tudents can supplement what they鈥檙e learning in the classroom with hands-on experience, ensuring that when they go to work, it鈥檚 not their first time programming a robot or producing a plastic part. They actually get to take what they鈥檙e learning in the classroom and apply it in the labs, which gives them a competitive advantage over other students who may not have that much hands-on experience.鈥澛

鈥淗aving access to the Advanced Manufacturing Center and all the facilities on campus has allowed me to grow my own way of learning,鈥 Perry said. 鈥淵ou can be hands-on if you want to be 鈥 whether that鈥檚 3D printing, working with injection molding machines or experimenting in the testing lab.鈥澛

鈥淥ne of the main reasons I chose 黑暗爆料网 was the low student-to-professor ratio,鈥 Perry said. 鈥淚t makes you feel like you鈥檙e part of a family rather than just a number. Every professor I鈥檝e had in the engineering programs has been incredibly supportive. You get to know them personally, and they care about helping you succeed. That kind of environment makes a huge difference in how much you learn.鈥澛
